But instead I am working on last year's god damned Nano.

Because I want to try getting it in publishing shape.

But also because there's at least one girl from writing club who will kill me if I don't.

And another girl from writing club has highlighted all of my adverbs

There were legit too many of them, and a lot of times they're unnecessary? Also I use 'seriously' and 'honestly' way too often when I'm speed writing (which is basically what Nano is) :/

Adverb = means you need a better verb. :) So hard!!!!

A trick someone taught me that helped me clean up documents - put it in Wordle and you can see words that you use over and over - I have a bad habit of using "just" and then you can search those words in the original and get better ones or eliminate them. :)

Ugh, with this one, my two biggest words were 'seriously' and 'honestly,' and I've already developed a complex about it. CRTL F IS A WRITER'S BEST FRIEND.

Ugh, don't remind me of Nano, bb. I had mine pretty much on a leash, a shiny one with pretty colors, and now it's off in the wilds of Africa or some shit. I'm so uninspired I can't even work the kinks out of the plot, the characters are just standing around aimlessly and not even the near certainty of porn can get me to look forward to it.

And I'm supposed to be doing research but I somehow got roped into doing the illustrations for an iphone game my brother and his friend are programming and now I have no time. Or interest, but it's mostly the time.

On better news: H50's tomorrow! And Castle! I saw the preview for H50 tho and I'm really really all kinds of apprehensive. I dunno if you've seen it so I won't go into detail but I just really hope they don't screw it up. If they do, fandom will fix it tho :D
