One of the biggest things that pisses me off about Game of Thrones is that the creator/author George R.R. Martin disapproves of fan fiction of any kind. I don't know if it's that, or the fact that i haven't gone looking for fic in this fandom, but I've never heard of anyone slashing John Snow with anyone.

O_o Disapproves of the FANS who watch and support the show writing fanfiction that 9 times out of 10 ends up drawing MORE people into watching the show? Really? Is he an idiot? WTF?

I hope for John Snow's sake (and his hidden smile) that someone out there has written something about him getting fucked into a mattress or cot or whatever it is they're sleeping on in the show.

That's just it. I don't think GRRM thinks the fanfiction helps him with exposure. He wrote Game of Thrones back in the *nineties* and it made bestseller. He's already got lots of people -- literally millions -- waiting on his next release.

If it helps with the imaginings: Jon Snow has taken a vow of celibacy along with all his fellow Night Watch brethren so that they do not get married or father children....

I just know that if it was something I wrote or was in, I would be fucking flattered to know that the fans love it so much they're playing with it while not able to watch the show. Maybe that's just cause I've been in fandom, but it's weird that more creators/actors don't understand that it's a compliment (for the most part, as long as the fans like you and don't try killing you off in horribly painful ways).

Oh, yes, cause Club Celibacy always leads to clean, pure fun between the members. Riiight. Lol.
