So I have things to rec for you today, beebs. But first! Karaoke: was fun! I sang twice--I'm Yours and Rehab, because they're both comfortably smack-dab in my vocal range and total crowd-pleasers--but, uh. No one in our party drinks? At ALL? Some of it, I think, is skittishness--I was the same way when I first went to Scotland, because I'd never really TRIED anything so I didn't want to waste money on something I might not like--or they just don't want to spend money at all, or they know alcoholics and are thusly opposed. Which is fine, okay, I'm not saying they should've shucked all that just because I wanted to get buzzed, I'm just saying--KARAOKE. I thought drinking was sort of why you did it?
