A/N: This is gonna be a long note, guys, fair warning. So, a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, Penny and I started bouncing around the idea of a T-Hard/JGL fic wherein JGL couldn't understand a word coming out of Tom's mouth, and Tom took shameless advantage of that. Well, this isn't that fic. Sort of.
Because then Penny came up with her idea of a Spring Fling A Thing (this is what I'm calling it, shut up) which she explains much better than I can. Basically, the only way to get at this fic is to listen to the podfic--or wait a month for me to post it.
It's a way of exploring the medium that is podfic, and a way to appreciate it like it often isn't in fandom.
And if I'd been thinking any clearer I would have asked her to record something SO MUCH SMALLER. And hey, maybe a pairing you've ever even heard of outside this journal? auuuugh *shoots self in foot*
So I'm incredibly nervous about this, guys. I realize I'm asking you to take an hour and a half out of your day to listen to Penny tell you about Tom's inability to refrain from insulting the people he wants most to impress, and Joe's mild obsession with Big Bang Theory and things that are Tom-shaped.
Do it for Penny--she's absolutely one of the best there is, and she worked very hard on making this wonderful.
