You are a goddess. A goddess of the WINCHESTERWORD~! This was...exquisite. Some of the concepts you introduced in this had me wanting to nearly tear at my heart with the intensity. Case and point--"And if some nights he woke up in a cold sweat because Sammy stopped breathing, well. He was not wrong." That was sooo perfectly Dean, that Dean would wake up in the middle of the night with that residual "something's wrong, Sammy's not breathing" only to find that the reason it was so quite was because Sam was gone. I also really liked this line: "Fourteenth time Dean went to the bakery for coffee in two weeks he thought about admitting to himself he had a problem, but Winchesters had never been big on being self-aware."

The whole thing just fit everything so wonderfully. I've been feeling rather jaded lately in fandom because I hadn't found a fic as good as this in so long, as in depth and heart-breakingly sad mixed with true Winchester-like flare/the undying love of Sam and Dean. YOU HAVE MET THIS QUOTA WITH YOUR AWESOME AND RE-HYMENATED ME IN CONCERNS TO NOT BEING JADED. Yay ^_^
