David Crowder never disappoints. Not only in concert, but there isn't a feeling quite like driving home from Cedarville by yourself in the sun listening to "You are my Joy" as loud as you can stand.
This weekend also reminded me how important it is to keep Sonya in my life forever. It also reminded me of the unending support that her, Kelly Young, Laura Young, and Paige Laughlin have for me. It's unfathomable. Church with Sonya today was beautiful and refreshing; staying the night was the best thing I could have done. And Cracker Barrel has never been so good.
I just spent a lot of time one on one with God today. It's something I should do more often, and I really see that now. You should do it to, and then tell me the results.
Attention Kelly Y: Today at Tubie's I was reading a book and I just threw a highlighter in my bag, and when I went to use it it was dry! So I had to use a pen!! It was awful, but I thought of you.
I'm reading another Max Lucado book because his parallel structure is the best I've ever seen and it makes reading his books addicting. Anyway, here's one of the highlights from today:
"How does God deal with your bitter heart? He reminds you that what you have is more important than what you don't have. You still have your relationship with God. No one can take that. No one can touch it. Your health can be taken and your money stolen- but your place at God's table is permanent."
