let me just tell you how awesome my husband is. a conversation earlier made me realize how fabulous he is. he takes such good care of me. hes always worrying over me and doing things to make me feel better. we had our first child birth class last night, and as an exercise to practice relaxing and breathing, the husband was supposed to squeeze the wife's hand as hard as he could. he couldn't do it, he is incapable of hurting me.
the women i work with all complain about their husbands and it drives me crazy. if you don't like him, why'd you marry him? i understand that all marriages have bumpy parts, we have them too, but it seems like these women all have a parent/child relationship with their husbands rather than a partnership. i love him!
i had my first baby shower last weekend. got lots of nice things, but i'm realizing how much i still need! babies require a lot of crap! and i don't even buy into all the toys/bouncers/play mats. i think wipe warmers sound like a mildew problem waiting to happen, and i'm planning to breastfeed, but i still need bottles for pumping and burp clothes, and washclothes and diapers, etc! this is going to be expensive!
