(no subject)
So
I'm a senior
And tonight is senior night
And it's raining
Ugh.
I really hope my parents make it in time to walk with me at halftime >_< I think I'll cry if they don't
I cry real easily.
School's going okay. The end of the MP is next week (thursday, I think). I hope I'm not doing bad in English >_< I totally got C's on my last two essays, and I have no idea how our timed essay went. (I didn't even like A Man for all Seasons... how can I write a good essay about it?)
Picked up a new book yesterday.
It's a whopper.
814 pages.
This is All: Pillow book of Cordelia Kenn by Aiden Chambers
Who also, as I found out today, wrote Postcards from No Man's Land
which I also loved.
I got really confused today though, because when you get toward the middle of the book, all of a sudden there's two different story lines going on. like... 207 (a) and 208 (b) 209 (a) 210 (b). It took me a little while to understand that the pages marked (a) went together and the pages marked (b) went together. Pretty clever. People were like: How'd you get so far?!
Well... I didn't. Not really. I have to go back atleast a hundred pages or so to read the other part of the story (side b)
But it's worth it.
It's not really an adventure story. And it takes time to read it and actually appreciate it.
Luckily I have the time.
Oh yeah - I have the internet back =3 And the telly <3
Game tonight. Hopefully the rain'll let up and it won't be so cold. I'm allowed to change into "normal" clothes after half-time, but I don't wanna be bundled up like a marshmellow :o.
