It was to rec three pieces you liked you wouldn't like but did. But, uh, I don't read/watch/etc things if I don't think I'll like them, especially in fandom, which is a thing I do strictly for fun. Life's too short. So. Sorry?
In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.
I guess the first two of these are less things that I really want for myself, and more things that I just sort of wished existed.
#1: I don't generally do vids (or even think about vids) but I have always, always wanted a Logan-centric Veronica Mars vid to Sloan's The Lines You Amend, because reasons. (Those reasons are the lyrics: "My friend / the lines you amend / like what's so bad about dying anyway?")
#2: Ditto to the previous note on fanvids, but in this case: a Sharpay-centric vid to Britney's Circus, because I'm pretty sure that song is actually just about Sharpay. ("There's only two types of people in the world / the ones that entertain and the ones that observe / baby I'm a put on a show kind of girl / don't like the back seat, gotta be first" etc etc)
#3: .......I want fic where Jackson really gets off on being humiliated. (And then there is a lot of aftercare.)
