why hello there.
Glad you've stumbled here. I am Queen Iodine! Welcome.
So you've decided to click the cut. Good choice.
Obviously I do have a real name, but Queen Iodine is much, much cooler.
And here is a brief explanation of this name. Brief, I promise.
Iodine, the 53rd element of the periodic table, is a lustrous, shiny gray as a solid. But when it becomes an excited gas, it turns a majestic shade of purple! It's the prettiest color purple you will ever see in your life. Somehow I remember that from years back.
It almost seems as though Iodine should be a name. And what a lovely name it would be! I believe any bearer of that name would obviously be some kind of important ruler. Thus, I have crowned myself Queen...of this journal. Hey, at least I'm not Napoleon and am crowning myself the Emperor of the French Empire.
Anyway..
The main reason why I've created this journal is to join the awesome communities of
wildecentury,
doriangrayslash, and
sounis.
Now I won't be a lurker. Life is good.
I'm not a total book nut, but recently I've found that reading has been calming me down. Hence I've been trying to read a lot more than I have in the past. And I am extremely thankful of

my amazing friend in real life, for exposing me to the world of Gen in the Queen's Thief series. Oh, Gen...
There is so much more to tell, but I really must start my French homework, which is to begin my independent reading assignment. I will be reading "Les Belles Images" by Simone Beauvoir. The back sounded suspenseful, but it's very dense.
And Physics. Simple harmonic motion is very cool. Makes you truly aware that math is everywhere. Oh, dear.
I'm not sure when I'll be able to post again, but I'll try to someday.
