have you ever eaten a school supply?
here is a rundown of things as they are.
my roomate is spectacular
my freinds are lovely.
i miss home but not so much that its painful.
my smoking (if this is possible) has actually gotten worse.
the bar is nice.
people are nice.
my teachers are alternately insane and nice.
i've actually been doing my work.
we're buried in the middle of mountains that look like they're made of trees, and when i wake up in the morning sleepy-eyed and too early, i look out my window and watch the fog roll across them.
i'm a fan of fog.
i dont feel weird anymore.
i am not diffrent here, julia has to dig through her bag for everything, the first day of class this pretty, normal-looking girl spoke up and admitted that she'd never handed a paper in on time in her life.
katherine and i have the same sense of humor about our spaceyness.
last night at the bar some kid introduced himself to me, "where are you from, whats your LD?"
brooklyn and "other."
this is a whole new world.
this girl was telling me that last year some landmark kids tried to go out en masse to a bar in springfield but it took then an hour and a half to get off campus, and when they got there the bar was closed.
they give you fidget toys to play with in class,
you dont have to pay if you get locked out here, because its so common.
it sounds weird, but i'm acually really really happy here.
i hope all stays well.
