Quick one, heavy on bike info

Today I finally found and rode the SA Missions bike trail. This is a multi-use path along the San Antonio River that wends its way to each of the 5 missions. I skipped the Alamo, largely b/c I had absolutely no desire to bike in downtown. I started at the "main" mission, San Jose, and rode down to Espada, then back up to Concepcion, and back to San Jose. I skipped San Juan as well this ride but will pick it up next time.

It was gorgeous--sunny, clear, in the 60s with only slight breezes. Lots of folks riding their bikes, walking their dogs, etc. It's a great weekend ride, and I really enjoyed seeing Espada and Concepcion b/c I'd never seen them before (my sister got married at San Jose, so I'd seen that one, and I worked in the gift shop at the Alamo one summer). I love doing "touristy" things, especially when I've never done them before.

I am, however, quite knackered now, and since tomorrow is babysitting all day followed by my first night of class, I figure I better do a quick post and then set about making sure laundry is done in a very timely fashion (I'm down to one pair of undies, and they're more of the recreational variety).

am i a complete pansy if i go to bed bef
