Random stuff
I had a great bit of news yesterday. My uncle is getting married in July! :D The woman he's marrying is from Mauritius, so I will have a further extended family over there too!
All the snow is gone now, but it might come back because it's freezing tonight. It's -4 degrees outside, so once again my room feels like an ice box. I hope our water doesn't freeze again, like the last time the temperatures dropped that low.
Today I was on work experience in the 1798 centre. It was okay, but I think I would go mad if I had to work there all the time. It was very busy today, when I got back from lunch break I had a lot of washing up to do. At the end of the day they gave me free scones to take home, which was nice. :)
I'm not in school on Monday either, so that's great! The week after is my mid-term break and then after that I'm on more work experience (the one where you get to choose where you go) for two weeks. That should be fun, because I'm in a radio station. Can't wait to see how that works!
And I have to tell you this! I was listening to the radio this morning in the car on my way to work experience, and there was a quiz. One of the questions was 'Name the members of Monty Python'. The guy said, "Um, John Cleese...... pass." And that was the best he could do. And he won the holiday anyway! I had to laugh. I so would have aced that quiz and then I'd be on my way to South America. xD
