End of the day post

So, today started off bad, but is shaping up to be not such a bad day.

I woke up this morning to my cell phone ringing. It was Heather at work, and it was 9:50 am. I was supposed to be at work at 9:00. Yikes!!! My alarm clock was blinking, so obviously the fuse blew either last night after I went to sleep or this morning before I woke up. I don't know who it was, but I don't think any of my roommates know that when that fuse blows my alarm clock resets, so I'm not mad. I will be sure to tell everyone this information though for future reference, so that they will know next time to tell me. SO, I got to work really late, but it's okay because I work extra hours because when I go to the 6:45, I get to work extra early and never put it on my timesheet. But it was still bad, because I felt like a piece of shit, and it was a blow to my ego because I see myself as someone who is always on time for work. Oh well, humility is good, and I guess life happens.

I will not get to go to a meeting today because I obviously overslept through the 6:45 am this morning, and I am babysitting Grace right after work so that Tammy can go to play practice. I did listen to 1/2 of Mari G. this morning on my way to work though, and I will listen to the rest on the way to Tammy's. Not really a meeting, but I talked to Lydia and it's the best that I can do for today.

Last night before Choir, I was involved in a hit and run. It was bad, bad, bad! I was sitting inside of my parked car, right outside of the church at Choir and all of a sudden this guy just hit me with his car! He just kept going and started just scraping up against the side of my car. I started honking at him but he just drove off and away. Luckily I got his license plate number. Then I called 911 and the corrupt DC cops came, and told me that there was nothing that they could do and that basically I was screwed and would just have to go through my own insurance company to get it repaired. Too bad I can't though because we're not submitting anything else to our insurance company because we are already involved in a multi-million dollar law suit with them representing us - so if anything else happens, they will probably drop us, which would be bad, bad, bad! The cops said the reason they can't do anything is because there's really no way for me to prove that they hit me and I didn't have any witnesses. You would think that they would at least run the license plate number or something though?? Freakin' DC cops. I really feel like they just didn't want to do their job. Oh well.

That's it for now - back to processing change orders and I'm done for the week!
