I was supposed to do a Sherlock fic rec post, and I STARTED to do that (like, four days ago) and then I got distracted and gave up after a few, which I'm guessing you all have already read, considering I got them off reclists I found on my friends list. Argh. I really fail sometimes.

I am writing my YAGKYAS. I need an independent adviser/beta who isn't part of the challenge. Hopefully an American who knows something about the places Ray and Walt are from. At the moment I am using the time-honoured research methods of 'Wikipedia-link-hopping' 'Googling' and 'making shit up'. Also! SOMETHING in my life has a November 21 deadline. SOMETHING. And for a while I thought it was this and I was like OHMYGODSYSFAILURE. But I just checked and it's actually due December 17 which - aahaha - is actually the day after extended trading starts at my shopping centre. Yay for meeting deadlines after working until ten thirty the week before Christmas! But still better than November 21.

In less panic inducing news, I am currently feeling smug. Why, you ask? Because I got to read THE BEST BRAD/RAY EVER before all of you guys! MWAHAHAHA. But fear not, because the best Brad/Ray ever has been posted for public consumption, and now you all can stop missing out.
The Moon is a Blind Eye - by novembersmith for Werewolf Big Bang. It is so fucking great, you guys. It has Brad and Ray and they're hot and adorable and STUPID, and it has WEREWOLVES and it has DANCING. I read it in a couple of different drafts, and it just. Kept. Getting. BETTER, and now it is the BEST POSSIBLE and you can all go and love it and adore it as you should.

I need to go to bed. Call of Duty Whatever comes out tomorrow, and I have to go to my shopping centre to pick it up for Trav EVEN THOUGH it is my day off. Because I am a GOOD FIANCE.
