Oh hai, guys, haaaai.
I'm so behind on...everything! But before I get into that, here are a few belated recs which I've been meaning to post.
shoshannagold - Now It's Time To Make Our Own Demands Ray/Walt, NC17. YOU GUYS. This is freaking AMAZING, and I just realised that while I looked over it before it was posted, I never commented on the story itself and UGH, GOD I SUCK. But anyway, yes, amazing. It's a spin on my Safeword 'Verse fics, and it is just so perfect. Like, sizzling hot, and full of kink, and also full of LOVE and TRUST, and two boys who want to give each other EVERYTHING. Ugh, so great. One of the things I like BEST about it is that she took it in a direction I wouldn't have - my fics, and my sex-scenes, have a pattern, and if I'd written it it would have adhered to that pattern. Shosh, though, just put her own stamp on it and I was reading it like, WOW, YESTHIS. SO much better than I would have done. If you haven't already read it (and you SHOULD HAVE) you must go read it now. (just check the warnings, 'cause I mean it about the kink)

Hey, you know how sometimes you just need some adorable Ray/Brad fluff to, like, SOOTH your SOUL? Yeah, this is perfect for that. Just adorable and sweet and they go to an AQUARIUM and Brad is the cutest ever. LOVE.
meeks00 - Just a Riddle in the Sky gen, Ray, Brad, R. I actually can't comment about this one ENOUGH. I am stuck for words. Like, Mika is clearly the best writer in any fandom, EVER, and she wrote this (in part) for ME and it is just freaking brilliant. It's Brad and Ray in the Supernatural universe, and you just have to read it to grasp the amazing possibilities in that scenario. Ray is hurt, and tough and young and scared and RAY, and Brad is the Iceman through and through, but he can't help but be charmed. Oh, god, this fic almost made me CRY, and then it had one of the most intensely hot scenes I've ever read - AND IT IS A GEN FIC HOW DOES SHE EVEN DO THAT JEEZ. But yes, this is one of the best things I've read in ages, and if you go read it right now, it'll be the best thing YOU'VE read in ages, too.

Next. I wrote fic myself, and I will post it in the next couple of days, once it's all done being edited. I love writing, guys, and I haven't been doing as much of it lately, because...I don't even know. I have wips! And then I feel guilty about my wips and go into a shame spiral and then leave Word open all night but don't look at it and instead go through 30 pages of passiveaggresivenotes.com. SIGH. But I managed to churn this one out, and I suppose I don't hate it THAT MUCH. And then that motivated me to try and finish my Ray/Nate/Brad/Walt fic, so I'm working on THAT now, and then I got my YAGKYAS and I have an AWESOME idea for it, and it's something kind of different to what I normally write so I hope I can pull it off, but it's EXCITING, and now I'm like YAY, WRITING IS FUN.
What isn't fun is forgetting to reply to lovely comments and then avoiding LJ because of, you know, the shame spiral. You'll all forgive me, right? Because I've been SICK and working a LOT, and then WRITING fic for you and also, because... Just because? I won't do it again! I loved all your lovely, lovely birthday comments, and I actually cried a little bit at them because, well. My mum phoned me, which was nice, but my dad didn't (they're not together), although he DID send me a message on freaking facebook. I don't have any family in Melbourne, and it's pretty much been up to Trav for the last few years to make my birthday special. So the fact that you all took three minutes of your time to say something made me a LITTLE MISTY.

You may have already seen these pictures of Pawel being all BEARDED and slightly BURLY and looking a LITTLE like a farmer (this is HOT, okay) but I'm going to post them anyway, because by Christ is he sexy. I mean, I love sparkly blond sunshine child Walt (like, I find him almost RIDICULOUSLY attractive), but bearded, hearty, MANLY Pawel is also doing things to me. Ummmm.
Keep looking at me like that, Pawel, and we are going to have a problem.
For some reason THIS is the one that kills me. It's not even that great a photo - it's just - UGH. His SKIN and his CHEEKBONES and his SCRUFF and his MESSY HAIR and his BLUE EYES (even with the stupid red-eye). UGGGGGGH. How is he so hot? I think that I am not giving away anything about my YAGKYAS story if I say that Walt is in it. Right? He's in it, and he looks like THAT.
Okay, I've probably forgotten a bunch more stuff, but I need to go off to work. STUPID WORK. Oh, hey, though. Did any of you watch SHERLOCK? (Who am I kidding, the entire internet has seen it by now). I still have one episode to go, but if you've got recs, you could, uh. Leave them here. I LOVE Watson like, a lot. Stuff where Watson is a badass, please? Um. That'd be great.

OH, I forgot to mention the OTHER thing Trav got me for my birthday. You know the scene n GK ep 1 where they're all standing around the humvee and Sixta comes up and yells at Ray to tuck in his shirt? Yeah, Trav got that scene and dubbed it (in his terrible American accent) so that they're all talking about what to get me for my birthday. Pink headbands came up. <3 <3 <3 I don't say it often in here, but I love my fiance <3 <3 <3
