Hello! Sorry, it's been a little while. I've been having exciting adventures!* And doing lots of things that I don't normally do! Very special! Here they are, in order of momentousness.
1) I joined the gym. The ACTUAL. GYM. With weights and machines and running! I went in today to meet with a trainer so she could assess how unfit I am (very) and design a program for me and show me how all the machines and things work. It was very... "And this is how you do a lunge! That...that's close. This is how you do a squat! I guess that...well, ok, that'll do." ETC. I have about eleventy billion things I need to do (rowing machine, bicep curls, pully-downy-arm weight things and so on) and then I have to finish each session with half an hour on the treadmill. I'm either going to get fit or DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH.
2) I went to Adelaide to visit my Grandma and all my Adelaide rellys. That was really nice, Trav came along and met the fam and still loves me, so that's good. (They're all a crazy tribe of Catholics with Irish blood [Grandma's folks were Irish], so you can see how that goes). You might remember that my Grandpa died some months ago, so it was good to check on Grandma and see how she is. There's plenty of family in Adelaide, so she's doing good. My New Years Resolution is to keep in better touch with my family, so that was the first step.
3) I have officially learnt Guitar Hero! I always thought, in my secret heart of hearts, that Guitar Hero was kind of...silly. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. I have RSI from SHREDDING SO HARD. Actually, I'm not that awesome yet, I stick around the medium/hard levels and mostly I play on bass which is a - cooler, but b - easier. At any rate, I still rock, and I got my first 100% on Nirvana's About a Girl. Thanks, Kurt.
Ok, so that was only three things, wasn't it? It feels like more. Here are some things that I've been doing that I do all the time!
a) I ate ice cream from the tub!
b) I read many books!
c) I've been perving on Nigella! And making her delicious, delicious food!
d) I've been playing the Sims! I managed to get it sorted thanks to D, and then I bought the new expansion pack anyway. It has ~magic~!
So not too much has changed.
Oh, and you mustn't think I had a HOLIDAY from work, or anything extravagant like that. I managed to wrangle four days off in a row because the stars aligned and New Years Day was the Thursday in front of my off weekend and I was owed a day in lieu from doing so much OT, and I took it on Friday. I sacrificed many livestock in thanks, believe me.
Ok, I have work tomorrow and I want to get an hour of Sims in before bedtime, so I leave you now.

PS. Today I thought I remembered a dream where I'd seen a particularly hot picture of LynZ. Then I realised it hadn't been a dream at all, it was on my flist somewhere last night, and then I went and looked at it for a while. Thank god for the continuing hotness of LynZ, is all I can say :D
