(no subject)
Hey everyone. This weekend has been fantastic, albeit fast. Last week went by pretty fast too, what with the job hunting and interviews and such. And the news on Wednesday that Jon was coming to visit! And that's exactly what happened. He got here friday night, we chilled with larry for a bit and then went to mizner park. I hadn't been there in forever, so it was kinda cool to be back, it's never as enjoyable in the summer though as it is in the "winter." All the same, we chilled for a bit and he got some food at Ruby Tuesday. After we hung out in the office, where he had to sleep, until three AM, at which point we couldn't really stand to be awake anymore (it had been a long day). So it was time to part ways for the night...Around 8 o clock the next day my mom came home from California which was nice, she came back all nice and stuff. Jon moved into my room where we laid for a little bit and i ran out to buy bagles for breakfast in bed. Later on we saw the Da Vinci code (pretty good, don't expect it to be a classic or anything), and then had a picnic on the beach. It was soo nice and romantic, exactly what i hoped for. The weather was beautiful, along with the twilight followed by gorgeous stars. That night he could actually sleep in my room. On my bed? Gosh no! But the floor. At least we got to be in the same vicinty, i can't complain too much (how can i, i got to sleep in my bed). This morning was nice too, woke up early, talked a bit then off to toojays for breakfast and then more last minute cuddling before he went off to orlando. Short and sweet, i couldn't have been happier. After, jess and i went to red reef for snorkling. It was pretty cool- not as amazing as the first time i went, i need to go back when it's early.
1) The Godiva cheesecake at the Cheese Cake Factory is amaaazing. Don't eat it on a stomach that doesn't have much food in it and too much caffeine already, at least i think that explains the huge headache i had after...
2) I got my job at stir crazy! My first time being a hostess, but i hope to gain some good experience and a couple references for when i go job hunting in orlando
3) The Gorillaz album "Demon Days" is actually pretty good, i've had it on here for awhile and never actually listened to it. today i am and i like it. it's weird but not too out there- just like i like it.
4) i can't wait to get back to orlando- jon's gonna make his room like a hotel for me, and even include breakfast in bed. how cute is that?
5) watch the desperate housewives finale!
