Finding things is frelling AWESOME!
As you all know, I'm moving, I've found some pretty interesting stuff along the way. There's a box that's been sitting in front of my dresser for about eight years, a cacophony of stuff that I didn't know what to do with but didn't have the heart to throw away.
There were a bunch of Creation stuff in there, which I knew. But at the bottom, I found some pictures, really really blurry pictures of switch842 that year she went on stage with tony amendola, which was like my first SG-1 con! I didn't even know her then! There's some blurry pictures of Don Davis too. I am absolutely horrified by them (can you believe I'm a photographer now?). But it's Don, so It's not like I can throw them away... So yay for con memories!
There was also a pic of my dog, who died about 9 years ago and of course I got all misty eyed even though that dog friggin hated me....
And you know what else was in there? MY FRIGGIN WALKMAN! And Sarah Mclauglin's first cd (Touch) was in there. It's rare, I'd been looking everywhere! Awesome.
But the super bestest part, I found some fics that I'd written IN HIGH SCHOOL. We're talking vintage stuff here. Mostly farscape, and only one of them is finished, but it's pretty darn good considering I probably scrawled it in the margins of my notebooks instead of paying attention in class. But hey, fic writing is a resonable alternative to falling asleep. And get this guys: ITS AN AU. Before I knew that au was a thing.
I will transcribe, and share at a later date, but for now I have more work to do. Away!!
