(no subject)
so, livejournal, i've officially become too busy for you.
i'm about halfway through the my first quarter of graphics, and it's amazing. but so time-consuming. we're doing photography, text layout, drawn design, a design history lecture class, a quick intro to co-op, and a seminar that we make a group project for. i switched into section two after all, it's where my friends are (and enemies aren't, ha ha). i feel a lot better about the classes here, and am actually finding that 'daap family' all the teachers talk about.
things with mike are great (he got a sweet new job), still in the riddle view apartment with hoagie, who is better too. i've still had a little bit of time it myself...and basically spent it all with alex, lol. its been really fun though, he knows how to treat a friend, and throws some great parties (even if some idiots crash the party, since they leave immediately because they think that people are shooting heroin, which is still hysterical to me). i saw bomb the music industry again, and it was great great great, duh. i'm pretty sure this is the college experience.
i've got a decent resume now, i'm actually quite pleased with it. it's on tabloid paper with my name on the front, and a cut so that you can see to the inside and the contact info, and the two pages inside are packed with how awesome i am. annnnnnd i've been working on a website, but it's still just in illustrator. i have the basic layout, and i've chosen most of the work that i'm going to feature. it's interactive, and has (for now) three basic layouts:
