Well, I haven't really had much going on in my life lately, except for stuff to complain about. Which I didn't take the time to complain about.
I'm looking into a job at Coon Rapids Cartridge World, I'd be working there and at our store. Which means I may or may not be working up at 80 hours a week, depending on how much Coon Rapids needs the help. Which would be incredibly tiring, but financially rewarding. That, plus teaching and playing in weddings (soon I hope!) should help me start paying off all that student loan etc. debt that I have so nicely built up so well in these past few years. The interest alone has quite doubled my debt. Which I am not willing to watch happen more, so I am going to pay it off as soon as I can.
I also need a new car. Which my stepdad and I will accomplish by the end of next week. My poor Buick is about at the end of its short life. Well, with 250,000 miles on it, I'm surprised it's still moving.
But, it needs too much work, and it's not worth it. I could sell it for parts, or try to give it back to the guy who sold it to me and get him to forgive the remaining amount I owe on the car (which is a whopping $500). I don't think I could get that much for the car. Anyway, so if anyone knows anyone with a dirt cheap car for sale, let me know. But it has to run, and run fairly well. At the very least get me through winter.
My mom is trying to convince me to move in with her in St. Cloud, quit going to the church I'm going to, and work 7 days a week at at least 2 or 3 jobs. She is obviously a lot more concerned about the debt I am in than I am.
I am trying to find ways to tell them that doing that is absolutely out of the question.
They don't understand.
So I have to come up with reasons that would make sense to them. Thankfully the job opportunity in Coon Rapids came up, and I was able to use the excuse of the amount of gas and the amount of time I would spend driving, and how uneconomical that would be.
Aaahh, life is interesting.
I must do laundry.
