On the Brink of Change...
So life is going well...it actually feels a little good to be semi-bored right now. It feels better that the first week back is finally over. At least our apartment computers are back online, I've been off the internet for the past day and a half.
Phase one of the move has been executed. Most of my clothes, my TV, and some decorations are at the new place. Since I'm doing a gradual over the weekend move, I can't pick up my key until I'm totally out of here, and res. life is open again, which will be monday. I'll probably sleep over sunday night and turn in my key monday morning before I go to foundations class. I think most of the moving will be completed after saturday, since I've been fortunate enough to have an overwhelming ammount of help. The president, secretary, and treasurer of Anime Club surprised me yesterday and stopped by to help, which was such a pleasant surprise because I don't see them nearly enough. James, the treasurer, I've only recently grown aquainted with and was surprised he came over to help as well. I'm excited about attending Tekkoshocon with such fun people this year - there's much to look forward to in the new year.
Today is going to be a really low-key day of moving. Saturday a few people are coming up to help, and most of medieval club will be helping too. Today whenever I hear from Melissa, I will probaby bring some more of my Japanese Oriental lights over, and other random decorations and also start to unpack my grand sundry of clothes that I have already relocated over there. My costume for tonight is over there too. I might start to try to work on my hair in a couple hours, since I think it will take awhile to get it jelled and styled the way I want it to look.
I'll need my Leia costume for tonight's 80's party & my yoda - my favorite little green man! I think my costume will really make a statement... since most people will probably just be going in the same old torn jeans, one sided pony-tails, and off the shoulder sweatshirts. I'm so excited, I'll post pictures with my new digital camera probably later tonight. Yay for the geekiness!
