first love
I watched Winged Migration last night. It's beautiful, but please only watch it alone. It's a documentary, with no special effects or alterations, of the migration of various birds. With a few narrated comments as well as subtitled factual information, the movie is all visual. It begins with the excursions north, then concentrates on summer hometime (making babies and the likes), and finally the trek back south to escape the bitter cold. A winner of many awards, this film depicts the significance of survival and nature. There are also gross moments of human impact on these birds and the environment. I recommend this film only for those patient and interested in a true romance.
