Vacation Rants
I just got back from vacation and I had a great time, but have a few rants.
1. Why are all hotels moving to this "improved" bedding situation with down duvet/pillows? Some people are allergic and it's really unpleasant to either get no hypoallergenic stuff or a lumpy pillow from circa 1985 with 20 pounds of dead skin cells in it. Guess what? I'm more allergic to that than the down. You'd think if they're giving you 50 pillows already, they could give ONE quality synthetic one- like a memory foam or even a new cheapy synthetic fill and just use a standard blanket with the sheet covers over them.
2. Perfume/cologne wearers- please tone it down on the bus/plane and for God's sake do NOT spray perfume on yourself in the vehicle! Again, some people are allergic and it may cause asthma or another reaction.
3. Airlines- why do you use the crappiest planes for the longer flights? Doesn't it make sense to use the entertainment-filled ones for the longer flights and the ancient ones with no leg room and tiny seats (some with taller middle seats- a nightmare when people recline) for the short flights. Also, why do you have to try to sell me a credit card and show ads on the one channel you do have?
