So we're getting ready to go in. Here we come, Wolfram and Hart--stay the hell out of our way. We'll be hitting the basement, hopefully quickly and quietly. "There's the matter of their weapons detection system to be thought of, as well. Speaking of which," I turn to Angel, "There is the small matter of circumventing the vampire detectors..."

I shrug. "They weren't working so well when Cordy and I went in for a look around last week," I say. "And nobody who knew me saw me. If they've enhanced them since then, we'll just have to go to plan B, I guess." Which will involve a delay and that'll piss Cordy off, so I'm hoping it doesn't happen.

I stand over by the counter, and eye the weapon that I've taken a liking too, the dagger thing with the big pommel. I creeped myself out earlier by realizing why I liked it. Reminds me of the ever so useful femur I used in Bedlam But I still like it anyways. Not that I know if I'll even be taking it. Everyone else can cowboy up with weaponry...way I figure it if we get caught, that's not going to save us. But I can already imagine the Look I'll get from Angel if I go unarmed, so I guess I'll have to take it. I'm glad Wes is here. He's a practical thinker. Like the vampire detectors comment. Huh. Hadn't thought of that.
