So we're getting ready to go in. Here we come, Wolfram and Hart--stay the hell out of our way. We'll be hitting the basement, hopefully quickly and quietly. But I'm not leaving until I find that stupid room and get what I went there for. Or unless I'm horribly killed. Either way, I'm ready to go. While I'd like for a lot of us to storm the place,

I'm at the weapons cabinet, arming up. Getting small stuff that I can keep hidden easily. It's a recon mission, with any luck we'll get in and out without setting off any alarms. I just hope they haven't found the new entrance I discovered and blocked it yet. You never know, with those psychics they have working for them.

I've dropped down to see Kennedy a couple of times, and she seemed shaky and a little delusional. Still, nothing that screamed "get me to a doctor this instant", so I'm feeling less anxious about our detox program working.

I sit on the pouf, watchin' Angel an' Cordelia strap up their weapons. "Have any of ya'll actually broken in somewhere before?"

I frown at Melaka, a little insulted. "Have we--of course we have! Broken into that place lots of times; you wouldn't believe all the ways in there are through the sewers." I feel around to make sure I know where all the weapons are secreted.

I raise an eyebrow at 'im an' snicker. "Didn' mean ta stand on yer toes. Though ma thinkin' is a professional theif can't hurt," I say, smilin' innocently. Shyeah. Innocent.

"Jus' don' do nothin' I wouldn't do," I can see Cordelia's jus' as eager 's I am ta go, an' Albion looks like he's consideran whether a shotgun is too outta the question. Wonder where Woody is 'snot like 'im ta stay behind.

"Sounds like you've been talking to Andrew," I say, with a laugh. At least I think a thief is one of those Dungeon classes he was trying to equate us with. "But don't worry, we've all had our share of practice breaking into and out of things, even if we're not exactly professionals."

I notice Wood has come in behind her and nod to him. He's taken an ever-increasing interest in Melaka, spending a lot of time training with her, so I figured he'd want to come along.
