haha i was such a smart ass in my seminar today, it was such a good feeling, especially in democratic theory where i know i have stuff to prove (due to my utterly crap attendance and very mediocre essay)! Its really made me want to do more work, so i can be the one in class who totally knows what they are talking about and has no qualms about trying to articulate something intelligent in front of a load of smart people. Its so very sad that at 21, the 'praise' of a teacher can still make me smile, but that was nothing compared to winning a debate with my class 'enemy' woowoo. and now m having a nice chilled night, catching up on emails etc because i have done the work i set myself for today-yeh! (i do wonder how long this is gona last tho!) :)

just thought i'd post something positive for once, yeh im not moaning!

quickly and purely because everyone is having such a hard time at the moment, i want to tell every one of my uni mates that no matter how hard it gets, you can all do it. dont be afraid to ask for support, even if its from an unlikely source.you are all lush like innit (bristol speech for you are amazing) so be aware of that and try to keep things in perspective (i will try and take some of this advice myself too!). if you have issues with one of your friends, tell them, talk about it TO THEM, noone wants to lose a mate due to petty bottled-up annoyances (or big issues that can be sorted through). look after yourselves and dont try to be all things to everyone because that can NEVER happen, and you are all loved the way you are-or wouldnt have friends so we shouldnt be so hard on ourselves! apparently time management is a good thing too and can help when i comes to essays, but i would have no idea how that one works.

ok well now i've done my old lady/mother/councilor pep talky thing (i honestly didnt plan to write that when i got on here but hey happy thoughts people!)i am going to retire to my bed and hopefully not have terrifying zombie nightmares like last night! x
