Clean ALL The Things!
Coat Closet established (required: hanging a closet rod up in the first place, getting storage bins for hats and gloves and crap, and moving all my coats and hats to said closet): check.
Bedroom closet cleaned out (required: corralling all the yarn from all over the house, resorting it, re-containing it, and putting it all back away in one place): check.
Canned goods pantry established (required: taking all my canned whatevers out of the cupboards and moving it to one shelf in the big hall closet): check.
Tomorrow's task: clearing out the big hall closet and re-shuffling things into the extra room created in my bedroom closet and other nooks here and there, or list some stuff on Craigslist.
Later: clean my desk off, sort through some of the dishes and post some of that to Craigslist as well.
Grand plan: having a real live grownup coat closet so guests don't have to do the "just put your coats on my bed" thing any more, getting extra money by getting rid of crap I don't use, and being able to point to a couple big plots of free space and telling Liz, "it's all yours!" (We'll already have at least one entire bookcase she can use, and another whole cupboard.)
