Philosophical question ( of a sorts): If you have something you need to get done (i.e. homework), but you keep thinking about something else you probably should do (cleaning the bathroom), would it be wiser to just bite the bullet and clean the bathroom (or whatever) and hope that you are left with enough time to complete your initial task (the homework)? Or should you force yourself to concentrate on the homework while attempting to ignore the urge to scrub the sink?
It's just this brand of waffling around, unable to decide what to do, that's kept me from getting alot done this weekend. Oh well.
In other news:
Went to the Scottish Games yesterday with Lauren, who wound up being the sole lonely representative of clan Stewart. Saw lots of big burly men in skirts throw lots of big burly objects very high in the air. It was pretty hardcore. We may also have gotten cast as the two 'bonny young lasses' in the folk singer's dirty little ditty about two girls who peek under a drunken highlander's kilt. Very funny, that. I'll never look at blue ribbons that same again.
Should have brought my camera. Oh well, I'll take it with me today, we might swing by the doggie carnival. Awww..
Looks like I'm taking the bus to Jax again this Thursday, Chad's graduation's this Friday. The PCCA one, which is the one he actually cares about. No school spirit with these Gibbs kids, really. Not at all like at Ol' Saint Pete High.
Need to pack some stuff and get a mother's day gift together before then.
And there's gonna be people staying over, so I really hope that doesn't mean that I can't sleep in my own bed, but I get that sinking feeling that that's exactly what's going to happen.
Oh well.
