I love how you manage to talk about Bayliss totally differently than the way I did.
And I should go back and read all the Vesper books. I loved the first one when it came out but I'd kind of outgrown them by the time there were more (not that I wouldn't have liked them, I just wasn't in that section of the library anymore so I didn't realize there were any!)

There are a lot of good characters in Babylon 5, but Bester is definitely one of the interesting ones. I learned to perk up a bit whenever he showed up, because whatever happened, it would be fascinating. Plus, the inevitable exchanges with station officers are always amusing.
I really adore Bel Thorne, and honestly, I think it and Miles should have hooked up at some point. It was persuasive, and Miles was intrigued (and not averse to hooking up in general..! :)
I must say, though, I don't care for "it" as the pronoun.

And yeah, Bayliss was the first one to pop into my head, so I had to take a different tack ;)
There are about 6 Vesper books altogether--they are all good but my feelings about the last one are Mixed.
