Yay for Friday!!

Yesterday was the first day that I woke up and really felt good!  It was my day off and I was super productive.  I did all the laundry, cleaned the kitchen & dining room (including mopping the floors), put away some clutter, ran some arrands, gathered things for the Holiday Bazaar and helped Matthew with his book report.   I was so tired by the end of the day, but it was so nice to get some things done.

Matt started training for a new job on Wednesday.  He's still working at his old job because he doesn't know how this other job will do.  His brother works there and he makes a lot with commission, so Matt wanted to give it a shot.  Needless to say, he'll be working a ton and yet he seems really excited.  I'm just worried that he won't be able to get everything done in the house before the baby gets here.  He worked on hanging dry wall earlier in the week and think that he'll be done with the hallway this weekend.  The mudding will be a long process, but I told him I'd help him with whatever I could.  The rest should be easy ... paint, drop ceiling and carpet.  Then we can move Matthew downstairs.  Now Matthew's room is only going to need painted and a new light fixture.   The bad thing however is that Matt needs to also fix our bedroom ceiling from when those roofers messed up the chimney vent and it leaked.  He says that shouldn't take long either.  We'll see ... I think he'll be too worn out to do home repair in which case I call Joe G. and tell him to come on over with his brother and knock it all out.  It may be worth the extra money to just have them do it.

I'm getting a little but nervous about the bazaar ... it seems like no one realized that it's a little over a month away.  I have to really get things organized this last meeting before Dec. 1st.  I'm planning on having some of the girls over to do some crafts and also do some baking for the bake sale.  We're also doing a "re-gifting" table which is great because I have lots of things, especially some toys of Matthew's, that have never been opened.  It's a great way to get rid of stuff cluttering up the house.   I just want it to go really well this year since I'm in charge :)
