Far from the finish line

Long time no speak, I can't believe that it's been over a month since I last posted on here. Nothing much has been going on really over the past few weeks. I think I've recovered now from my kideny infection. I'm back at work and college. Work is the same boring shit that it always is but when I got paid on Friday just gone I got my agenda for change arrears. Basically what it is is that everyone who works in the NHS was getting their jobs evaluated and rebanded and if you were getting paid less than you should have done then your obviously due some money. There have been a fair few people who have been downgraded and are actually losing out but if that is the case then you are pay protected for 5 years and then you can appeal against the decision as well. So I was pretty pleased that I've got my money as it's going towards my holiday fund. I've booked two weeks off in July to which I'm hopefully going away to Kos with Andrew. One of my friends wants to do a long weekend in Ibiza maybe in September which will be quite cool but I think we'll wait and see as to what happens.

I've been watching plenty of football. Just seen Man U win the Carling Cup, pah! Poor Wigan, I feel sorry for them I think they are a pretty good team.

103 days until the World Cup starts, I remember being in Tenerife in 2002 when the World Cup was on and I watched England get knocked out by Brazil. It was a killer because I remember it was an early start and I'd been out all night I was well knackered.

I've got to try and get some college work done tonight, exams in June. Eek!
