Wow!
This week has been amazing! We've rehearsed till we're blue in the face and illness and stress have been put into this with the ever-changing rotas and finding out on a day-to-day basis what we may or may not be doing the next day. We were meant to be rehearsing until next week where we would then be shadowing and performing if we were ready but that's all changed because they're short-staffed and needed us so we were shadowing yesterday, only to be doing it ourselves anyway.
But it was awesome!
I'm quite proud of myself because I handled large groups of screaming kids and made large grown men jump out of their skins and do as they were told. It was amazing!!!
Today was my day off but they've asked us to provide our own shoes and other stuff so I've been out shopping (ugh) and managed to get myself a pair of leggings and some boots which I'm hoping will keep me warm in the freezing dungeon.
After I finally returned from shopping, Careena (our boss) rang me and said instead of shadowing tomorrow, she needs me in the house because she was impressed with my knowledge and because they're short-staffed! I'm so looking forward to it, but kecking my pants because I need more knowledge and finding it hard to find some more.
Anyways, END OF RANT
