Solgar withdraws discounts from websites
We have recently been informed of Solgar’s official worldwide policy concerning discounts given on their products by internet retailers. Solgar have now banned all retailers and websites from offering Solgar products for sale other than at the full manufacturers recommended retail price.
We strongly disagree with this policy as it can be considered it to be a restrictive trade practice whereby consumers are being forced to pay a higher fixed price.
This policy is to take effect from 1st November and we are sending this notification in advance of this date in order that you may be able to purchase your stocks at the discounted price until 31st October.
You can be assured that we will continue to offer alternative quality comparable products at very competitive prices and would urge all users who feel strongly about this policy to voice your opinion by writing to Solgar at the following address:
