Bad News
My mom just called to tell me that my Grandma was in a car accident. Apparently my uncle was driving and he went out into traffic and got them hit. My grandma's face is really bad. She had to get stiches in her face and it's all swollen. Luckily, she takes asprin everyday for her heart so she hasn't really felt the pain. I'm mad my family is just managing to call and tell me about it. I'm just glad she's ok for the most part.
In other (more positive) news. Next weekend is my sister's senior prom. I'll probably go home then and I can check out my grandma at the same time. I really want to go home for this because I kind of feel guilty for missing out on my sister's big HS moments. She was there for all of mine like prom, homecomming, etc. So it will be fun to help her get all dolled up and such. The only down side is I hate to drive and It's a 4 hour drive from Tallahassee To St. Petersburg (if I speed and I've gotten enough tickets). Then I'll be doing it again May 18 for her graduation. But it will be worth it.
