The past few days!
Last night Isabella tooik her first few steps. It was right before bedtime and she then fell and hit her melon on the hard wood floor. The whole night we were worried about her. We even woke her up and checked to make sure her eyes responded to light. I didn't sleep well but she is fine. I also think she learned to be a bit more careful because she has taken a few steps today but very gingerly and after a few she will make herself fall back to her butt.
The weather here has been killer for us. It is so hot and we only have one air conditioner in the whole apartment. Isabella was just happily sitting in front of it and laughing whenever it rotated to blow directly on her. The past few days we have been hiding out at home and trying to stay cool since it is so hot.
Friday was Sandro's day off during the week so we headed to Aarau to get some clothes for Isabella. With the warm weather and her growing like a weed we needed to get her some cooler outfits and some shoes. She is standing up by herself so I wanted to get her some shoes so she can walk outside without fear of stepping on something owwy.
Once we got there it was her nap time so we got her clothes and pretty much anything else we needed while she was asleep. When she woke up we got her a hat and some shoes. She loves her hat and insists on wearing it in the house. We stopped for lunch at Mcdonalds. Where she flung her hat around. Then we got a few more things went to sit in the grass and talk and play and headed back to Lenzburg.
