You don't seem to understand.

It seems that my plans of retribution against my betrayers has not been received with a warm response.

Oh, what a pity indeed.

An ant colony is an underground lair where ants live. Colonies consist of a series of underground chambers, connected to each other and the surface of the earth by small tunnels. There are rooms for nurseries, food storage, and mating. The colony is built and maintained by legions of worker ants, who carry tiny bits of dirt in their mandibles and deposit them near the exit of the colony, forming an ant-hill.

Ant colonies are eusocial, and are very much like those found in other social Hymenoptera, though the various groups of these developed sociality independently through convergent evolution. Eggs are laid by one or sometimes more queens. Queens are different in structure, they are the largest ones among all ants, especially their abdomen and thorax which are larger than most ants'. Their tasks are to lay eggs and produce more offspring. Most of the eggs that are laid by the queens grow up to become wingless, sterile females called "workers". Periodically, swarms of new queens and males called alates are produced, usually winged, which leave to mate. The males die shortly thereafter, while the surviving queens either found new colonies or occasionally return to their old one. The surviving queens can live up to around 15 years.

Very good!

If you understand that structure.. then how could you not understand the desire to be a queen? To operate as the leader, the most important individual in the entire colony.. the one thing needed to survive. All workers bow down before you, they exist only to serve you, work for you, do as you please for them to do. They are below you, your servants, and you are the backbone of life as the world knows it.

The most vital and amazing of all existences, that is the role of a queen. Why would I like to be anything else?

That's exactly why. When one is Queen, one must be the backbone of a whole society. Dealing with people's problems on a daily basis, having almost no privacy, their lives are in your hands. Our society is much different from that of an ant's. If you make a mistake or if you reign with terror, there will be revolts and eventually execution. It's in all the history books--history always repeats itself. The ones who grasp power of their own accord always fall in the end. Royalty might sound pretty, but tastes bitter like the sourest wine.

And that is where my own touch on matters comes into play.

I won't rule just anyone, I will rule my own breed of individuals. With the help of the T-Veronica virus, I will be unstoppable. Execution will not be possible, not when I am the strongest being known to man. With just a swipe of my hand, I will destroy all who oppose me, and leave the remainder in fear of my greatness.

And if I'm not in the mood for petty combat.. I will always have my BOWs to do the work for me.

That's what being Queen of Umbrella Inc is all about. If I cannot be Queen of the world as it is, I will change the world as I see fit, until I can. They will be my most perfect colony.

Is the T-Veronica virus like Nanomachines? Nanomachines are body enhancers that are induced into the human body. I have them myself--they allow me to transform my body parts into anything I want. Genetic engineering--bio weapon.

If you do not rule everyone, what will you do with everyone else? And what kind of individual would you rule?

Is being Queen that worthwhile--changing everything?

The T-Veronica virus is very similar to that. As the head researcher of Umbrella Chemical Inc, it is my greatest creation, my own personal twist upon the traditional Tyrant virus. Infusing the Tyrant virus with the genes of the original matriarch of the Ashford family, Veronica Ashford, the T-Veronica virus was born. It is a.. type of body enhancer of sorts, induced into the human body, via the blood stream. The original Tyrant Virus is much more volatile, it can spread much more easily, and though it was created to make bio weapons, it.. does not do it's task perfectly. It makes weapons, yes, of sorts.. but not the kind that are easily controlled.

With the T-Veronica virus, tt was my intention to inject it into my own body, but my research was interrupted before I got that chance.. it is currently imperfect, as it causes death upon injection to most hosts currently, but.. when I escape this place, I will perfect it's methods.

Everyone who disagrees will be dealt with, in my own ways. Their survival will depend upon my whims, as it should be under the ruling of a proper queen. Those whom I do rule over? the obedient and the wise.

To me.. I believe it is. I do not want to rule a world that is tainted. I will rule a perfect world. And I need to change much to reach perfection in this world.

I see. That is what it was like with Nanomachines, until they managed to perfect it. It took years of research--I am the first and only successful creation. There is a reason for that, but I will not go into detail. Death upon injection? There must be a better way to test it.

So you would rule based only on your whims? That could lead to destruction.

I... can understand such sentiments. But no world will ever be prefect.

Yes, all of the viruses that Umbrella creates often take years upon years of research.. truly successful [and each researcher's view of success does seem to differ] BOW specimens are far and few between. Unfortunately.

Yes, death upon injection. It is.. currently the best method of testing for the virus. We need to use human specimens, since all of our viruses are meant to be used on humans. Though some of our viruses do also effect canines, plant life, and some other species as well.

I suppose it could, but I am willing to take a risk. Even if the world will not be perfect.. I will bring it close to perfection.
