Mata Hari
So I missed the book club today. Stupid strepp throat. Now I don't get to complain about how I didn't like the book. A book on Mata Hari, should be about Mata Hari, hence the name. Am I crazy? This book seems to deviate of topic quite a bit. I realize the author is trying to give the reader a better understanding of the time period, but geez about 60% of the book focuses more on art, music, trains, weapons, and other of topic subjects. I mean come on, I hardly learned anything about the female spy I thought I had been reading about!
