Title: Bliss
This fic was written for potc_love. Will x Elizabeth, 100 words exactly. At World's End spoilers. obviously. It's vague on which interpretation you choose to believe (I go with the writer's definition, but not everyone does I know) but then in 100 words I didn't have much time to clarify! Anyway, enjoy.
The prompt is drowning; the title of the fic is Bliss.
Elizabeth remembered the time she had almost drowned before, when her life was ordinary and she was not a pirate king and was consequently far less content. Her fear of drowning never quite subsided from that day, despite her love of the sea.
Yet when Will came ashore, just as handsome as he had been ten years previously, and lifted Elizabeth into his arms, Elizabeth felt like she was drowning, but this time in pure delight. It was a feeling of pure bliss.
As Elizabeth fit her mouth to Will’s, she thought that maybe drowning wasn’t so bad after all.
