I knew that the years 7, 14, 21 and 28 were significant in a persons life, But i learnt today that
Age 7 - is about mind,
Age 14 - is about body and
Age 21 - is when mind, body and spirit come together.
Age 28 is when Saturn returns but the experience can be a positive one if we can deal with our issues before then.
On another topic..
I was privileged enough to do a reading for a young 'modern' aboriginal lady today. She was asking about possible fathers for future children from tribes in the northern territory to bring the ties between the north and south closer together. Apparently its a practice that was once very common. Women were used in this way to keep bloodlines intact and to create a connection between tribes that were located at great distances. I cant say that i agree with their treatment of women but its a cultural system that seems to have worked for a long period of time, and probably would have continued if not for the invasion of the 'white fella'.
I find it disgraceful how westerners have tried and are still trying to bring native peoples out of the 'dark age'. What makes us think we know better for a people when they have done perfectly well for thousands of years on their own. Im realising that we need to educate not the aboriginals, but ourselves on the history and the energy of the land that we call home to understand the fundamental principals of survival.
Ive been thinking about the age that were living in and it disturbes me that we do not have any physical information about our age and what we have accomplished which will survive a 'apocalypse'. When the world as we know it comes to an end, and all our paper books and electronic information is destroyed, the people starting over will probably still have access to cave paintings, writings on clay tablets and seemingly indestructible monuments that still don't make sense to us. We need to leave a 'what not to do' guide so future peoples dont fuck up the planet like we have. Our age will be an enigma, They will be looking at pictures of rainbow serpents, star stories, bull gods, observing the pyramid structures and toxic waste dumps around the world while holding on to rounded metal discs and asking themselves 'How did they get from ritualistic goddess/god worship to blowing up the planet?'
It has been proven that DNA stores information, and seeing as though the earth and all on it are 'one' it's probably about time that we realise the solution to earths current human parasite god complex problem lies in looking within and connecting to our history, our present and our future.
Were all in the same boat, why do we keep fighting with ourselves and each other? Surely we can find a constructive way to work together appreciating that the 'I' can not survive alone?
