You Make A Fool of Me, Tell Me Why
One thing that use to always annoy me about Carl, was this idea that he had in his head that im spoiled & im somewhat rich. He use to always comment on how I wore Calvin Klein jeans, Skechers shoes, & always went shopping for new, expensive things. Im sorry that I dont shop at Wal-Mart, but I dont shop at Christian Dior either. I have expensive taste, but im not scared to buy clothes from Wal-Mart. I bought my Calvin Kleins from Burlington Coat Factory for $15, thats the same price as Wal-Mart jeans. And you know what, those jeans are gonna fit me better & last longer, because my Wal-Mart clothes fall apart fast. I wear Skechers because one pair could last me 3 winters. I love shopping, but I feel like im a thrifty shopper. I just found a XOXO handbag for my birthday at Ross. It retails for $50, I got it for $14. Im in love with a pair of Dior shoes that retail for $600, but do you see me buying them? I dont know where the hell Carl got this idea, but I dont think im spoiled. I hardly ever buy clothes & stuff cause im really picky. I keep the same stuff ive had for years because it took me so damn long to find it. Im not spoiled & im not rich but I own nice things because I shop in thrift stores. I think its stupid to buy a pair of jeans for $100 when you could just wait till their at Ross & buy them for like $20. Im just so glad Trey doesnt tell me how spoiled I am because im walking around in Mudd jeans with an XOXO handbag on my arm.
So its getting really fucking cold really fucking fast out here. I hate cold weather. I hate walking around in the cold air & feeling all my muscles tighten to keep myself warm. Im sure walking on campus is gonna suck this time of year. I guess it is better than sweating my ass off & smelling like b.o. because I had to haul ass to class.
Oh yeah, what I did on my brithday. I ended up coming home early & Trey was home. He made me close my eyes & led me over to my present. No, it wasnt a ring! It was a beautiful bouquet of roses & some filler flowers, a pair of Dallas Cowboys pajama bottoms, & a picture of Bill Parcel, the Dallas Cowboys coach. I was thrilled, but it was cute & the pajamas are actually really comfy. Trey took me out to Olive Garden, perhaps my fav. resraunt. They didnt have veal manicotti!!! I was crushed, so I settled on three meat ravioli, which was soooooo gooooooood. We had a nice little dinner, our waitor was really cheesy & trying way too hard to be "the perfect waitor." It was quite funny. Then we went to go see The Brothers Grimm, which was okay I guess. I dont really recommend it. I noticed that a movie about The Da Vinci Code is coming out in May 2006 & I WILL be seeing that one. After that we went to pick up Jareth from my mom. My mom gave me a pair of fake suede brown boots that ive been admiring at Wal-Mart, as well as a Halloween Snoopy, hehe. Ive also got $20 to spend a Hastings. Im thinking, The Killers cd.
