Well, my mother finally owled me the dates of The Dragon Festival. It looks as though I will have to leave on July 6th, seeing as how the Festival starts on July 7th. I don't know why she couldn't have owled me earlier, what with the Festival starting so close to the end of school. At the very least, I will be back before my birthday ( Read more... )

I'm still not sure if we're being dragged to India over the summer, Pansy.

I'll tell my mum and dad though. Maybe this will be the final bit that makes them keep us here in England.

Padma and I have far too many plans over the summer to be stuck in India with our crazy Aunt.

Yes, your Aunt is rather... eccentric. What are your big plans?

And Millie would like me to inform you not to get her anymore knickers. Of any color or shape.

Eccentric is a rather polite word for awful.

Padma and I want to go to Muggle London and pick up some things. Plus, I want to see, err, um, my friends over the summer and we have to be in England to do that.

I didn't get the last set, I'll have you know. Lavender purchased them! I wouldn't get her pink thongs! I was thinking of some very nice mint green full knickers.

Whatever would you want to pick up in Muggle London?

Oh? Which friends, exactly?

Yes, well, however lovely those sound, Millie won't come to Ellette's wedding if you give them to her before the actual ceremony, so if you could wait, that would be wonderful.

I want a few of the games that Professor Pawson has allowed me to borrow. Maybe even a copy of Shipping Battles and Twister.

Just, err, um, Colin and Lavender and you.

Why would I bring knickers for Millie to your aunt's wedding?

Ah, yes, Twister. You seemed to rather enjoy it at the party, if I recall.

Oh, so you are spending the Summer with Creepy? How much fun for you.

Well, I don't know. You'd have to ask Millie.

Please don't call him by that offensive nickname. He's not Creepy in the least. He's actually a very nice person.

It won't be the whole summer unfortunately, maybe just once or twice. Padma thought it would be a good idea to ask him to help us dress like Muggles for the foray into Muggle London.

But yes, Twister was quite a bit of fun. I played it with Professor Pawson and had a wonderful time. I think even if it's just Padma and I, we can have fun and Padma could use the fun right now. Shipping Battles is much more fun.

It's a term of endearment, Parvati. I mean no harm. If he doesn't want us to call him Creepy, he shouldn't threaten to wear Draco's ribcage as a hat.

Yes, I suppose that would be beneficial to you and Padma.

Yes, it was quite amusing to see everyone fall down all the time. I hear one boy even sprained something. I don't even care to know what Shipping Battles is.

He's very misunderstood, you realize. He doesn't care for terms of endearment for some reason. I think he's afraid of the affection behind them.

Shipping Battles is great. You get to blow up people's boats. Very entertaining. Although Colin beat me multiple times.

Yes, he is very misunderstood. And we must get him comfortable with affection, Parvati. And the only way we are going to do that is to keep calling him terms of endearment.

He did, did he? How nice for him. And you.

...Do you really get to blow up boats?

But Creepy isn't really endearing, is it? I'm thinking Growly Little Lion Cub. What do you think? It's cute, isn't it?

It's more that you stick these little pins in your boats and then tell the other person that the boats blew up.

It'd be more fun if there were explosions.

...Growly Little Lion Cub? I'm not calling him Growly Little Lion Cub. You can, though. Just not in my presence. On or off Vu.

What's the point if there aren't real explosions?

It fits, though. He growls but all he really wants is someone brave enough to get past his growl. And he's a Gryffindor so the Lion thing fits as well.

It's so that you can touch each other as you sit there even though you don't really know if the other person means it interact with each other, I guess.

Of course it fits, Parvati. Whatever makes sense to you.

What if I don't want to interact with people?

Of course you want to interact with people. How boring would it be to be by yourself all the time?

Reply

queen_salazar June 25 2006, 08:05:53 UTC
Yes, I want to interact with a select few people, and I do, and if the boats don't actually explode, then I can interact with them in different ways.
