Ok... I can kinda admit when I'm wrong.
Since I'm only half wrong.
I was pretty determined to keep believing that Tori Amos' music sucks.
I admitted that she was talented.
So Daniel, Hon, and I ventured to the molson amphiteatre in terrible weather.
We had AMAZING seats.. which made me more bitter that Imogen Heap wasn't there.
We got there in time to see the last half of the ditty bops' set.
I didn't like their music.. but one of the ladies had pink hair and had a really fringey dress.
She was a ridiculously good singer too.
We then left and got food and also I got my ticket signed by the good singer from the ditty bops..
and hon got his phone signed by both.
Him and Daniel seemed to really like them.
Then we went back and Tori Amos came on.
She had 2 organs, a keyboard, and a grand piano.
I didn't know how any person would need that many intstruments..
but she used every single one.
At several points in the set.. she'd play two, and sing at the same time.
It was very impressive.
Her songs sounded much better without all the crappy sounds on the albums.
Her singing and piano playing were relatively flawless.
The only problem was.. that each song was like... 10 minutes long.
After about an hour and a half of stuff.. she runs off stage..
Of course she ran back for an encore..
and played two more really really long songs.
She then waved and such and ran off again..
so we were all Toried out.. when she runs BACK on,
and plays two more unessessarily long songs.
By the last song.. me and daniel were watching hon play on his cell phone,
it got a little out of hand.
She finally finished... while kick ass fireworks were going on behind us...
and then we left.
That's about it.
