I'm almost done with my application to AmeriCorps. I just need my information for my references then I'm set. I worked this morning on filling out my motivational statement and am fairly happy with it. However, I thought it said max of 400 words, so I kept it concise... until I turned it in (online) where it said max of 4000. So I'm not sure if I should go back and edit, as I have time to since I still need my references or leave it be as a short personal statement.

Any suggestions? Or any ideas as to why I'm awesome and can contribute to AmeriCorps and what I can gain out of working there?

(Wow, I really want this to happen.)
