diagnosis - yer doin it wrong
nope, not an ulcer. if i hadn't requested the endoscopy, then the ER doctors, my primary and the gastro doc would have been satisfied to let me think i had a fricking ulcer while whatever it is that i do have slowly killed me. ah, modern medicine.
so now i'm back at square one. my mom says gallbladder, which is plausible. now i have to go back and have a HIDA scan (which sounds like a fancy way of poking my gallbladder with a stick and seeing if it screams). if that comes back ok, then i'm really worried they'll want to get into some really nasty, invasive stuff. bleah.
