(no subject)
It's been slightly forever since an update and I apologize. I am alive. I think that this is good though... I kept my promise of wanting to live life instead of write about it. My old entry that was so optimistic makes me nostalgic, and I hope that I can start this next year out that same way, but actually complete more things.
The following is what you've missed and because a picture is [sometimes] worth a thousand words, it's an image mess of what's been going on in my life up until school ended. Since school ended there have been random activities, including getting an awesome new job that I adore, hanging out with people I love, lots of working, minimal writing, tons of knitting, some tae-boing, and bunches of Kidwell concerts. :)
There's been a lot that has happened that has not been captured by my camera, but I thought I could give you some glimpses. I definitely don't want you to know everything. ;)
Beware, I'm pretty much self-obsessed I think... so I have tons of pictures of me. But hey, it's my lj... I do what I want! he he
1-6: Epic Hero, White Light Riot and someone else at The Varsity Theater. Signatures and cute t-shirt and good music.
1-9: Ice skating trip to Edina with some good friends.
1-18: Over Christmas Break, I knit a few things. I'm modeling a sweet cabled beanie I designed (with inspiration from another) and my little penguin, Pasha.
1-19: Hung out with some awesome girls (plus Candace and Miriam who are not pictured).
1-27: Out of the Box (currently Kidwell) performing.
2-1: I realized that my hair was far too long. It was longer than it's been since 5th grade. Yep, I was angry.
2-4: Boys (Jesse, Tommy, Brian) came to visit me at school where we explored underground tunnels and Jesse sang karaoke.
2-11: I got pretty for Les Miserables, Brian's Christmas/Two-year anniversary present. :) We ate at a cute French restaurant in the Cities. Oh-so-cute.
2-16: I got my hair ALL cut off. I was stunned, but shorter hair is so much better.
2-27: Gina was my model for Basic Media Graphics.
3-4: I visited my boyfriend at school. :)
3-10: I got cute for Kidwell.
Spring Break! 3-15 - 19: The Naked [Juice] Spring Break. I went to Chicago to visit some of my favorite girls in the world. We spent ~77% of the time knitting. That's perfection. :) I made some sweet arm warmers, which made me happy.
4-14: Brian and I pogo-ed and skipped it like nobody's business. (I'll never grow up!)
5-11: I got my hair chopped again, this time getting a mini-makeover that made me look like a China doll. :)
5-13: We had lambies at home. Oh, CUTE!
5-16: Katie and I tried to make a sweet birthday cake. And failed. Oops.
So yeah, that does it 'til after school ended.
School was fun-- I had some pretty sweet classes and ended up on the Dean's List (yay me!). This summer is half over and I need to get out of Minnesota.
For those of you in the Boston area... I'm coming out the first weekend in August, hopefully. I'd love to see some familiar faces cuz I miss Boston and my awesome friends like crazy. :) For those of you in Minnesota... why haven't you called?! ;)
