Yesterday various members of the Student Government, along with several students from campus, gathered together to honor our great planet. Keeping with the spirit of Earth Day, they paid respect to the environment and the planet by giving back instead of taking. In front of Galloway Hall there is now a triangle area full of flowers that inspire butterflies to gather.
There was a sighting of 2 butterflies already as of yesterday morning. As word spreads through the butterfly hotspots we should see more and more butterflies appearing. My hopes are that the butterflies will hit the butterfly Twitter and MyFace networks and spread word quickly. By Monday, I believe butterfly enrollment will be up.
I am enclosing some photos of the progress. Enjoy.
I will gather pics in a few days when the butterflies have arrived.
