Tonight is graduation at my college
I am so proud of my students and yet I will miss them. I am conflicted with emotion. I am proud of them for coming this far and I am super excited for those choosing to go away to higher degrees. I am truly glad they will brave the world and expand their minds. But man, I sure will miss them (read: I am totally sad about Whitney, like I could cry if I let myself).
My department works graduation to make sure people have cake and punch after the ceremony, and before the ceremony we pass out icewater because it so freakin hot in those robes!
Anyhow, it is a bittersweet and exciting day.
In other news: I am wearing a new shirt and it looks seriously good on me. I need 10 more in various patterns please.
