Warning: Genius!Jin? o(^~^)o Oh, it could get messy~ XD This fic might have an NC-17 scene in due time *shot*

Summary:  Let the games begin!

A/N: The fic was inspired by several books (Norse Mythology, some things from the Hunger Games, and a series) It is also very much inspired by the rpg Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria of the Square Enix company (I swear I’m going to finish playing that one!) This goes to my favorite monster of all time, sugar_pain_baby .

Anyway, all about the fic here.

Chapter 1: Midgard || Chapter 2: Alfheimr

Chapter 3: Niflheimr (Part II)

When his team was complete, Kazuya placed the sealstone on the dais and did what Ohno did at the dais in Álfheimr. The rune, Isa, glowed red. They were at an advantage. The mist slowly cleared up and his eyes immediately scanned the place. Then he found him.

Kazuya smiled sweetly at the man who was hugging the Kitsune's sculpture. "I never thought that you're such a pervert, Akanishi."

Jin petted the Kitsune's head before he stood up. "I told you that I'll see you soon, didn't I?"

"Oh, but the feeling isn't mutual." Kazuya answered calmly.

Without the mist, Sho's eyes grew wide when he saw that the bridge became wide enough for someone to cross it safely and it now had those much needed railings to hold onto. Also, there was a rope of some sort that hang above the bridge. It was long enough to have its ends at both the north, where the group was, and south, where the treasure chest was arranged in peace.

"I missed you too, baby." Jin replied to Kazuya while his eyes were focused on Tegoshi who was now crossing the bridge. His eyes scanned the other men and found the Selkie's robe in Yuichi's hands. "This is interesting." Jin casually said. "You've managed to catch Tegoshi."

Tegoshi was a fast runner. He'd witnessed that for so many times already since Ryo and Tegoshi had always managed to make their room a children's playground. He had come up with the conclusion that Tegoshi was born to piss Ryo off by calling the overly manly Ryo with the pet name Ryo-tan. He, Tegoshi, and Yamapi thought it was cute. Ryo thought otherwise.

"Yuichi and Massu did. Aren't they great?" Kazuya felt proud.

"Not if I can steal the treasure from Tegoshi." Jin then walked towards the group.

"Freeze, Akanishi!" Sho shouted when Jin came close to Kazuya. Even though Wendigos usually possess people, the gamemakers listed the ability to freeze in his character's powers. Since they were on ice, which was his character's habitat, Sho felt safe enough to use his ability.

"Only in one condition." Jin voiced out in a sudden.

"You're not allowed to have any conditions." Yuichi told the man who didn't belong to their group.

"But you owe me, remember?" he reminded the others. "If not for me, you wouldn't have figured out where the button is and you won't have the treasure Tegoshi now has in his hands."

In a blink of an eye, all eyes fell on Tegoshi's figure. The Selkie now had a hammer and was on his way back to the group, leaving behind an opened treasure chest.

"Fine." Aiba agreed on Jin's term. "What is it that you want?"

"I want Kazuya with me for a night."

"Hell, no!" the Æsirs firmly said in unison, Kazuya's voice overpowering the others.

"Akanishi, I said freeze." Sho reminded the man who was still walking.

"Aww~ You're no fun!" Jin whined out as he stopped walking. Freeze was meant to stop the enemies from pursuing their prey and since Sakurai Sho activated that certain power, Jin was expected to stop pursuing the Æsirs and technically, Tegoshi too. Well, he actually never intended to, he just wanted someone from the other team to waste a power or something that fell in that line. Sho did just what he wanted.

"Aw~ look who's whining now~" Kazuya taunted the leader of Jötun.

"It's a wonder how you can always get prettier up close, Kazu-chan." Jin smiled again and stared at Kazuya. "You're so beautiful I can't stop staring at you." Jin grinned when he saw the pinkish tinge that had painted Kazuya's cheeks. "You're really cute."

"Don't fall in love with me now, Akanishi." Kazuya said, trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Whoever said about love?" Jin chuckled before a loud yelp echoed.

"TEGOSHI!!!"

Kazuya's answer didn't come since his teammates screamed the youngest man's name. He turned around and saw that the bridge has disappeared and Tegoshi was just clinging onto the rope to prevent himself from falling. Kazuya looked down and saw that the ground was covered with icicles with tips just waiting for Tegoshi to fall.

"Help me!" Tegoshi cried out. He was scared for his life. He looked down and grew more scared. He wouldn't want to fall on those nasty icicles that would surely damage his flawless skin and pretty face. No, that couldn’t be! His manager would skin him alive if he came back with even the tiniest scratch visible to the public's eye.

Yuichi, Massu, Aiba, Sho, and Kazuya grew worried. Tegoshi was hanging, like a necklace's pendant from its chain. The boy was in obvious panic and the hammer was still in Tegoshi's hands. They needed that freaking hammer!

Massu moved and tried to hold onto the rope. He'd have to help the other boy if nobody would. When his hands closed in on the rope, a clear wall of ice rose up and prevented whatever it was that Massu intended to do. With the wall blocking them from coming to Tegoshi's aid, the group fell into silence and only Tegoshi's painful grunts and sobs echoed in the icy hall.

"Let go, Tegoshi."

"Are you crazy?!" Kazuya scowled at Jin. "He would freaking die if he let go of the rope!"

Jin ignored the furious male and spoke a bit more loudly. "Let go of the rope, Tegoshi."

Tegoshi looked scared. He looked as if he was a drowning puppy and no one was willing to save him. Even if there was, the man wanted him to let go.

"Let's try breaking the wall." Kazuya told his group.

"You'll just waste your energy." Jin informed the others.

"It's better than to just watch that boy die!" Kazuya angrily shouted.

"He won't. Dying is not included in this game." he told Kazuya, who looked doubtful.

"Trust me, Tegoshi. Let go of the rope." Jin commanded yet again.

Tegoshi wasn't even halfway through when Jin saw the bridge disappear. By now, the rope was starting to turn into ice already and even if Tegoshi could hold onto that, it wouldn't be long since his weight was bearing him down and his hands would go numb once the rope froze and his outstretched arms wouldn't be able to last long.

With eyes closed, Tegoshi let go of the rope and hoped that he'd be able to open them with him still breathing.

Kazuya, Yuichi, Aiba, Massu, and Sho watched in horror as Tegoshi fell. They anticipated a loud scream of pain when the icicles were suddenly gone and replaced with fluffy white snow. They even saw Tegoshi make a snow angel.

"Ehh?!"

Jin laughed slightly. "I told you he won't die. You guys are overly dramatic." he said and watched his teammate abduct and adduct his limbs against the snow.

The bridge appeared again and then it turned into an ice staircase. Yuichi, Massu, Aiba, and Sho all rushed to the steps and hurried to Tegoshi, who was laughing and crying at the same time.

Relieved, Kazuya couldn't stop himself from hugging Jin, relieved that Tegoshi's life was spared. "I've changed my mind. You're not that bad."

Jin chuckled and was surprised to see Kazuya smiling at him. He leaned closer to Kazuya and his lips met the man's left cheek. "Don't let me break your heart." he whispered. "What happens in this island is all for the sake of the game."

"Believe me, I won't give you that satisfaction." Kazuya answered before he pulled away.

"Good. And now your group owe me twice." Jin reminded Kazuya.

Before Kazuya could even ask, his teammates along with Tegoshi made it up again to where he and Jin stood.

"I'm glad to see that you're safe, Tegoshi." Kazuya smiled at the younger man.

"Yeah. Thanks to Jin-kun." Tegoshi grinned.

"Uhh, Tegoshi..."

"Yes?" Tegoshi turned to see Yuichi holding up his robe. The singer's eyes were brimmed with tears again when he saw that his robe had been ripped in half.

"I never intended to, I swear!" the older male defended himself. "I was anxious and I forgot that I have this in my hands. I must've ripped it apart when you let go of the rope." Yuichi explained.

"I'm out of the game..." Tegoshi whispered, defeated.

Aiba, who now held the hammer, patted Tegoshi's shoulder. "You were good anyway. You stole something from Yuichi and that's an accomplishment." Yuichi scowled at Aiba who just laughed.

"And you sang with me by the river Ífingr." Massu added.

"You and your lame tricks." Tegoshi pouted.

"Admit it, it worked." Massu laughed.

"Unfortunately, yeah." Tegoshi sighed heavily. "Oh, wait! You better give me your number and I'll call you once you're out of the game and maybe, we can record a song together. You have a nice voice." Tegoshi laughed when Massu looked embarrassed. "And thank you for trying to save me."

"Hey, you still owe me." Jin broke the good mood.

Tegoshi and the Æsirs looked at Jin then. "What do you want, Akanishi?" Kazuya asked.

"I want Sho and Massu out of the game." Jin said nonchalantly. A sly smile tugged on the sides of his lips when the men in front of him gaped.

"But that's unfair!" Kazuya was more than aggravated. "I understand why you'd want Sho out of the game but not Massu!"

"Okay." Jin stared at Kazuya. "Then I want you out of the game, Ka-zu-ya."

The silence became unbearable in a sudden. Kazuya's features hardened while Sho's face grew dark. Massu, who always smiled and talked, grew quiet and his face was devoid of any emotion.

"So, what will your decision be, sweetie?" Jin just had to ask, obviously taunting the other.

The smirk on his face made Kazuya want to punch the man straight in the face. And so he did. His teammates were more than shocked from the scene as they all had their mouths open ajar, eyes wide.

"That was...unexpected..." Jin rubbed the area where Kazuya's knuckles met his jaw.

"You deserve only the best, Akanishi, so I gave you one." Kazuya's voice was colder than Niflheimr itself. He looked at Massu. He liked Massu for all the man was worth. Massu worked hard, was an asset to the team. If he were to choose between Sho and Massu, he'd easily choose Massu. "Fine." he stared at Jin straight in the eye. "Sho is out and I'm quit-"

"Hey! Why'd you do that?!" Massu's voice suddenly interrupted Kazuya's words. They all turned to Massu who was now frowning badly at Aiba.

"I swear I didn't do it!" Aiba defended himself. "Look! Tegoshi made me do it! He told me you have dirt in your hair and that I should remove it. I was about to but he suddenly moved my hand on your ear!"

"Then why'd you do that?!" Massu couldn't help but scowl at the boy who was cheekily grinning.

"Jin wants you out. And since I'm already out, I had to manipulate someone to get the job done. You let down your guard, Chicken boya. Remember, each and every one of the players is an enemy. Don't even trust your teammates. Jin told us that." Tegoshi answered as he tore the leaf-shaped ears that belonged to Massu. "Besides, it'd be annoying if their love story ends here." Tegoshi glanced at Akanishi and Kamenashi before he gave a cheeky smile at the obviously aggravated Kamenashi.

"What love story?" Yuichi had to ask.

"I knew it! This is all Ohno and Ninomiya's fault!" Aiba exclaimed.

"What do you expect? The producers themselves are not even the slightest bit discreet about their relationship." Sho answered.

"What relationship?" Yuichi asked again and pouted when no one answered him yet again.

"I hate you!" Massu hissed. He was thoroughly annoyed that he could feel it rushing through his veins.  He wanted to win the game, for gyoza's sake! "Don't you know that because of what you did I am now officially out of the game just because you destroyed my ears?! They're what defined me!" Massu scowled yet again.

Tegoshi smiled at the fuming male ever so sweetly and said, "I know. That's why I did it. Besides, it's payback time. You tricked me too, remember?" Massu groaned in reply.

"Sneaky brat!" Aiba voiced out.

"Definitely." Jin agreed as Tegoshi gave him a thumb up.

Kazuya was the only one who refused to talk since he was still irritated at the condition given by none other than that stupid Akanishi, who had his curls framing the sides of his face. Those chiseled jaws that met his knuckles. Kazuya wanted to erase even the beauty mark next to Akanishi's right eye. And those lips...those lips...Kazuya threw Akanishi a quick glance to get a glimpse of those lips...

"Ahh! I fucking hate you!" Kazuya couldn't help but hiss in frustration, startling the others before he stepped on Akanishi's left foot. Jin grimaced as Kazuya tried to crush the bones of his foot.

And as if on cue, Takizawa Hideaki and Imai Tsubasa suddenly appeared in front of them.

"There are too many casualties today." Tsubasa started. He surveyed the group and was relieved to see that the players were still in one piece. "You've been doing well in the games but it is a regret that I should declare that Tegoshi, Sho, and Massu are now out of the game."

Tegoshi just gave a small shrug of his shoulders with a smile while Sho and Massu looked a little less than devastated. Both were forcing a smile.

"Then I guess we should leave now." Sho said in a quiet voice.

"Oh, but before you guys go," Takizawa interjected. "Let's have our dinner first. We are already starving and yes, you're the ones to be blamed." he finished before he instructed the group to leave Niflheimr.

"By the way," Takki spoke again once out of the ice and fog world. "You guys stayed so long inside that icy hall and we had to adjust the temperature before all of you freeze to death once the adrenaline rush is gone. We don't want lawsuits cluttering our desk, you know? Oh, but Tegoshi," he looked at the youngest male in the group. "Your scene was just brilliant! It would surely rake the audience in. Tsubasa, I can just imagine our show being the talk of the town once again! Aren't we famous?" Takizawa rambled on while Tsubasa walked in silence.

"Now I won't be able to buy a house filled with ramen, gyoza, and mochis and pocky and--"

"You know what, Massu?" Tegoshi cut Massu's whining. "I've made up my mind. I'll ask my manager to debut us as a duo. Tegomass. Hah! We'd surely be a hit!"

Massu gave Tegoshi an 'are-you-out-of-your-mind' look. "What?! Debut? I don't sing!"

"Yes, you do!" the younger male insisted. "I heard you so don't try to deny it. Oh, and we'll ride cute, colorful plastic ponies during our concerts and dress up as a princess and a prince and make the fans go crazy with our fanservice." Tegoshi dreamily and dramatically sighed. "And you know what the best part is?"

"What?" Massu frowned.

"You'll have endless supply of food!" Tegoshi almost squealed. "And when I say endless, it means...err...uhm...endless!"

The thought worked liked magic since Massu's eyes lit up with genuine excitement and joy. "You got yourself a deal, Tego!" he grabbed the younger's right hand and shook it. Tegoshi just nodded, satisfied. Oh, he knew he was such a brilliant, talented child!

"Sho, why do we have to say goodbye this early?" Aiba asked, pouting.

Sho smacked his friend on the head. "Baka! Stop acting like a child. Eventually, we all have to say goodbye anyway."

"But, but-" Aiba faked his tears and sobs.

"Hey, at least we're way better than Nino." Sho smirked. "That guy is such a loser."

"Now that you've mentioned him, yeah. That kid's such a big loser." Aiba grinned.

"Let's go. I'm starving!" and the two members of Arashi ran as fast as they could towards Asgard, the thought of a sumptuous meal excited them.

Kazuya walked on the limestone pathway that led to Asgard. The others were already gone from his sight; only the trees and the plants greeted his eyes. The moon was bright tonight and it shone gently from above him. The silence of the night comforted his hurt ego like a soothing balm.

"Hey, Kazu."

"Hey, hey, Kazu." the sly smile on Jin's face disappeared when the younger male continued to ignore him.

"Hey, sweetie?"

"Baby?"

"Kazu-chan?"

"Kazuya?"

"Will you fucking shut up, Akanishi? What in hell do you still want from me?!" Kazuya scowled. He was still annoyed at the fact that Akanishi wanted him out of the game the soonest time possible even after the kiss that Akanishi stole from him, not that it really mattered. Hell, he didn’t even know why he was being dramatic all of a sudden. Being emo sucks!

"I never intended for you to be out of the game-"

"Whatever." Kazuya immediately interrupted the other. "I'm not listening so just shut the hell up."

"Look, I had to threaten you since you don't want Massu out. Massu's a very competitive player and he should be out the soonest time possible." Jin had to say even though he wasn't the least bit threatened by Massu's presence in the game. He just wanted to make things easier.

"Lame excuses are lame, Akanishi."

"Ugh! I don't even know why I'm explaining myself to you and here you are, refusing to listen!" Jin scoffed.

"Did I even ask you to?!" Kazuya frowned at the man. He was beyond irritated actually and the frown on his forehead wasn't good enough to be a perfect statement. "Let's just consider each other as mortal enemies. My group doesn't owe you anything now and your team--" Kazuya's rambles were cut off immediately when the other grabbed his arms and his back hit a random tree's trunk a bit harshly.

"Listen." Jin started yet again, trapping Kazuya between his arms.

Kazuya rolled his eyes, not even aware of the reason why he was treated as such. "Why should I? We're not even friends or acquaintances to begin with."

"I know that! Get out of my fucking head and leave me be!" Jin hissed in frustration.

Kazuya felt his jaw drop. "What?! I don't even come near you, asshole!"

"I know!" Jin took a deep breath then. "I know." he repeated in a low voice. "I advise you not to search the other Heimars alone if you want to win this game."

"Hah! Look who's talking!" Kazuya almost spat the words out.

"Ryo saw you in Musspelheimr, getting the coat you gave Tegoshi. You would have been kicked out of the game if I didn't stop him."

"Did I ask for your protection? Oh, mighty Incubus, remind me if I've forgotten such a great favor." Kazuya's voice dripped with sarcasm. By now, all of them had already figured out who's who that made them act more carefully and cautiously.

"Why are you being so hardheaded?" Jin's voice became soft and gentle.

"Because I don't understand you!" the younger finally snapped. "You come up to me and threaten my life in this game then you kiss me out of a whim then you ask for my teammates to be out of the fucking game! Stop fooling around with me Aka-" Kazuya swallowed his own words because Akanishi had claimed his lips once again.

"What were you saying again?" Jin whispered against Kazuya's lips.

The warm breaths tickled the skin of Kazuya's lips. Akanishi's scent was intoxicating him and before his knees weakened, Kazuya glared at the man. "Fuck you!" Kazuya pushed the other away and harshly wiped his lips with the back of his hand.

"It'd be my pleasure, sweetie. But I'll be the one to top, okay?" Jin said in a loud voice as he watched the younger male head towards Asgard.

"Just remember that whoever falls first loses!" Kazuya answered back and completely stormed away from Akanishi. "And go top yourself, you pervert!"

As his back was facing Akanishi, Kazuya didn't see the genuine smile that had formed on Jin's lips.

A/N 3: I'll be abusing songs, inappropriate words, and fluff. XD Are you guys fine with the layout? Please do tell me if you're having a hard time reading my entries...I wasn't supposed to post this till next week but I had nothing else to do and I'm bored so yeah...so how are you liking the story so far? I'd be very happy to receive comments and constructive criticisms. Also, sorry if the updates are long. I never planned to but I had to because ideas keep on coming whenever I'm typing a chapter for this fic. And sorry if I'm pulling out characters in each chapter...this fic's meant to have 9 chaps so I really have to expel the pokemons XDD

A/N 4: Thank you, Kay for beta-ing :) also, I told you that I'm watching Tatta hitotsu, right? Unfortunately, the show is too cheesy for my liking (even if I write cheesy fics) so I'm putting it on-hold if not stop watching it completely and I'm only on the 2nd episode! (>.<) Btw, thanks for reading :)
