Welcome to the second entry.
I am going back in time. Back to highschool. Back to where it all began. Smashing Pumpkins.
I have been listening to lots, and I mean LOTS of smashing pumpkins this last week. It makes me happy. If I don't think about the shitty times associated with school and more about the music and how it got me through then it lets me enjoy it more.
I can't wait to get Billy's solo album - just to see what its like. I really really really want to go to his gig at the Palais, but I can ill afford it, what with wanting to go to the Finn Brothers, the Music Business conference in August and possibly even Oasis if they would just hurry up and announce some Australian dates. On top of this I have to start saving for my move to the UK next year. On top of THAT - every bastard and his band are releasing new albums - Coldplay, Audioslave, Turin Brakes, Ed Harcourt, The Pictures - well I HAVE to buy The Pictures or Davey and Luke would never forgive me. Ahhh those boys, bless them.
Money sucks - but I came to that conclusion a long time ago didn't I?
I just don't want to wait to go O/S - I wanna be there now!! What with Brendan and Nick being over there, Marie and Wilko, Mel and Vince, Jenna at the moment and Cami in August. Its not fair!! Who's stupid idea was it to give up the full time job and go back to school anyway?? Oh yeah, thats right - it was mine.
Ahh well. Put up and shut up. Ok I've got the whinge out. Now for the contemplation.
I checked out some Northern Ireland real estate online last night - it made me so excited. Rent is pretty cheap. Jobs are another thing though. Will definately be calling in a lot of favours from friends over there. But all in all I am still excited about the prospects and how utterly life changing it will be. Maybe I will finally find someone, who knows? That is all a part of taking that giant leap. I so can't wait!
Well thats about it - for now anyway. Will maybe make this my daily thing and the other blog a more in depth, as it happens, only for Stacey and Cami thing - oh hang on, it is that anyway haha.
